Texas Church Pastors Starved Child Because They Thought He Was Possessed By Demons Then Try To Resurrect Him From Dead.
What is even more disturbing, Police say the pastors then held a religious ceremony to resurrect the dead 2-year-old, all captured on video.
(Warning: Video is very graphic in nature!)
CBS Dallas reports, Meza and her husband operate a church out of their home where the little boy's parents also live.
Police said that the young boy was starved as part of a ritual to rid him of demons. This happened for 25 days before the toddler died.
The video allegedly shows Meza reciting prayers while holding the deceased boy. “In the name of Jesus, I’m utilizing this oil to try to get him back to life,” she explains in Spanish.
After applying oil to his head, she says it’s time for him to wake up, “right now.”
Dallas News reports Meza later told police she believed that was the day God was going to wake up the boy, court records say.
Meza, her husband and the child’s parents then reportedly went to Mexico to bury the child. When she returned she was taken into custody. Police believe the boy's body and his parents are still in Mexico.
“We are concerned with finding out what happened, and why the boy passed away.” “We still need to conduct an autopsy," Pedro Gonzalez, a spokesman for Balch Springs police told Dallas News.
Aracely Meza is now being held on a $100,000 bond.
