A mother battling cancer shares a once in a lifetime experience with her son three days before she died – a slow dance at his wedding in Dana Point.
A mother battling breast cancer got to share a once in a lifetime experience with her son when they danced at his wedding just three days before she died.
“She held on with all her might to give her son this last gift,” said Mary Ann Manning’s daughter, who captured the Sept. 5 slow dance on video. “It’s really the epitome of a mother’s love.”
Although Mary used a wheelchair, she stood with her son as they danced to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and can be seen smiling, and hugging and kissing him.
