In The research has participated males and females, who had slept overnight seven or less hours, and who had begun to show signs of blood pressure.

During 6 weeks, 13 of the 22 volunteers had to go an hour earlier than usual sleep while the others at the usual time. Blood pressure to the people who had earlier gone to sleep was significantly reduced compared with those who go to sleep without changing sleeping time schedule.

Lack of sleep and stressful life associated with increased risk of high blood pressure. This research is among the first who proved that blood pressure can be adjusted by adding hours of sleep. / Albasun /
